Up to now a big THUMBS DOWN on this product. It is so simple to use that it has no way of proving that it really works and the bottom line is that it doesn’t. I bought it a few days ago and it’s still “thinking” about the 715 supposed errors that I have in my computer’s registry and it doesn’t advance from that position and there’s no way to check what is going on. I’ve tried all sorts of tricks, downloaded twice, rebooted, etc., etc., to no avail.The help page is no help at all since it doesn’t address real world problems. I give it a 0-10 rating. STAY AWAY FROM IT!

This is a bunch of ****. I bought it yesterday and did not receive the license key with their email as I was supposed to. Then on their supposed live chat I could not get an answer to how to get the license sent to me. The live chat gives you the very sam automated answers no matter who your are chatting with. Stay away from this ..

  George – find the email you received from Clickbank immediately after purchase. The subject will be ‘Receipt for your ClickBank Order #’. In that email find the text that says: “If this was a digital product and for some reason you did not receive access to the product after payment, please try again by following this link now:” then click the link that follows that text.

I scanned my computer with PC Speed Doctor (It was a very quick scan …about 60 seconds. Hmmm….) and got a list of various “errors”. Hit “Repair errors”, there was a quick cleanup and my pc was now “free of errors”. Just for kicks I re-booted and re-scanned. SAME number of errors! Including 288 “Registry Errors” – same as last scan! I emailed customer support and got this response:

“Thanks for contacting the customer support team.

“Unfortunately there will always be errors on some computers but they are very small and are caused by the fact that you will still have programs running in the background. Any programs you are not using the PC Speed Doctor will have fixed. Amongst this any registry errors should be entirely fixed.

“The PC Speed Doctor does clean up your computer but if you have a lot of background programs then the error report will always continue to have the same errors as these are continually produced.

“If you need anything else, please let me know.
Kind Regards,
Customer Support Representative”

Now I may not be the brightest light in the harbor, but I do know that if there are 288 “Registry errors”, then a “repair of these errors” takes more than 15 seconds, and at least SOME of the errors will be repaired! And that goes for all of the other “errors” PC Speed Doctor “found” and “repaired”. I’m getting a refund. let’s hope I actually get it!

I got back exactly the same “form” letter from the support team as Carter. This is really a piece of junk. I made a test with two other e-mails, names and computers to see what response I would get from these jokers and the supposed trial scan in each case, was exactly the same one that I had received when I had done my trial scan. How about that? All three had exactly the same number of errors! What a coincidence, eh? I’m also going to ask for a refund and leave my bad impression on every forum that I get my hands on.

Upon installation, it tries to change your default search engine to Bing. If you cancel it has popups to prevent you from leaving the page. It’s almost like a porn or other spyware/virus program. Avoid.

Yep exact same as carter – scanned three times and the same amout of “errors” up. Pity i didn’t see this site before i saw the one that it “isn’t” a scam. lesson leart for better home work! Nothing is quicker on my computer at all!

Les, what am I missing here? You have 4 people within a 10 day period who have given this product a big thumbs down. Yet, you still rate this product high and recommend people purchase it. It appears that your Buyer satisfaction indicator figure is something you made up unless you are the owner of the product. I say this because you do not have access to the owner’s payment processor statistics. I’m not trying to give you a hard time, just trying to understand how your rating works. If I went to Amazon and all reviews were bad like they are here, I certainly would not consider purchasing the product.

  I base it on the product’s refund rate, which you can work out from the payment processor’s EPS figure. I then change it manually based on user feedback if necessary. I think you’re right that it need to be changed for this product, and I have now done so.

I purchased speeddoctor I never got a confirmation email on first scan 290 registry issues clicked repair message saying all fixed tried a resacan and 290 registry issues again I have tried emailing support but no reply I have tried again to ask for a refund I expect I will be lucky to receive one I would not recommend this to anyone

I can not give this a rating as to how good it is or not as it does not seem to work. Same errors before scan and repair as it is after the scan and repair. Is there actually a program that works well personally I think not. Be real glad if there was someone with a program to prove me wrong, then I would use it. I think that they all have a predetermined amount of issues in which they will fix 10 or so for free for you to make you abliged to buy. I have tried a few and all the same except some go a bit overboard with the amount of problems. Far too much take take take with nothing to show for it

I want to cancel, can’t fnd a way! Tried emailing support, no answer. First scan told me I had 290 registry issues so I clicked on repair issues and got the same thing. This is a joke! Stay away from it.

totally dissatisfied.first was told it would be 39.90 and was charged 49.90.was useing walmart money card so disputed charge.the phone number they give is a bunch of crap.any company thathas a phone number you cant get hold of anybody on,is A SCAM,SCAM,SCAM,SCAM,SCAM,SCAM,SCAM,I CANT MAKE IT ANY CLEARER

So many thieves, so many disappointed suckers. Sorry guys and gals but wow, anyone who goes to a site and downloads this crap without thoroughly investigating it is bound to get corn-holed. Most of it leads you by the nose to sites like this set up by affiliate marketers sniffing after every spare cent in you bank account. Although bravo for the change there Les. if you want a good honest reviews go to http://www.pcmag.com/. A legitimate and reliable source.

I am very disapointed with this PCSpeedDoctor, when scanning my computer it will not stop from scanning for registry error, even for 12 hours continuosly, it was realy SCAM, even worst than free tools you can get from the internet. It was unrecommended product.
